STILLWATER, Okla. — The No. 3 University of Texas Women's Tennis team recorded a 4-2 win against No. 2 UCLA in the semifinals of the ITA National Team Indoor Championship on Saturday evening at the Greenwood Tennis Center. With the victory, the Longhorns (7-0) advance to face No. 1 North Carolina in the championship match of the prestigious tournament on Sunday, Feb. 7 at approximately 6:30 p.m. CT.
Texas grabbed a 1-0 advantage by claiming the doubles point. UCLA's duo of Abi Altick and Taylor Johnson earned a 6-2 win on court 3 against senior Marta Perez Mur and freshman Charlotte Chavatipon.
