IRVING, Texas – The third-ranked Texas Rowing program placed 19 student-athletes on the 2018 Academic All-Big 12 Rowing Team, the league announced Thursday. Fourteen Longhorns earned first-team honors and five Longhorns were selected to the second team.
A total of 151 Big 12 student-athletes earned first-team selections while 24 were selected to tehs econd team. The team includes honorees from the five Big 12 rowing schools – Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Kansas State and West Virginia – in addition to rowing affiliate members Alabama, Old Dominion and Tennessee.
To qualify for the Academic All-Big 12 Team, student-athletes must maintain a minimum 3.
