AUSTIN, Texas – No. 3 Texas Baseball beat Abilene Christian, 18-0, on Friday night at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. The Longhorns have won 11 consecutive games and improve to 28-8 on the season, including a 20-2 mark at home.
Ty Madden (5-1) was dominant, pitching five shutout innings and striking out eight, while allowing three hits and three walks to earn the win. Douglas Hodo III and Murphy Stehly each had to hits and three RBI to lead the offense.
Texas was rolling early, plating five runs in the first inning on three hits and three walks.
