No. 25 Baseball walks off Kansas to win series opener

AUSTIN, Texas – No. 25 Texas Baseball walked off Kansas, 5-4, in the series opener on Friday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. After giving up a go-ahead homer in the top of the ninth, the Longhorns (33-20, 18-10) had an immediate response to win it on a Jalin Flores RBI double in the bottom of the ninth.

Texas took a 3-2 lead into the ninth inning before the Jayhawks hit a two-out two-run homer to take their first lead of the game. In the bottom of the ninth, freshman Casey Borba started the inning with a pinch-hit solo homer to tie the game up.
