ARLINGTON, Texas – No. 24 Texas Baseball was eliminated from the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship with an 8-7 loss to Cincinnati on Wednesday at Globe Life Field.
The Longhorns (35-22) will learn their NCAA Tournament selection fate on Monday, May 27 at 11 a.m. The selection show will be broadcast on ESPN2.
Max Belyeu went 2-for-5 at the plate with a two-run homer, while Rylan Galvan finished 3-for-5 with a double and one run scored.
Cincinnati grabbed an early lead with one run on three hits in the top of the first off of starer Charlie Hurley.
