AUSTIN, Texas – It was a meet that the Longhorns won't forget and the first of many to come.
On the first day of the two-day dual meet, the Longhorns defeated Virginia, 171-159. The score combined both the men's and women's scores together after 17 events, including the finale mixed 400 free relay.
Texas won nine events on day one, with the men starting the day by winning the 200 medley relay. The team of Carson Foster, Will Chan, Caspar Corbeau and Daniel Krueger clocked in the fastest time in the NCAA this season at 1:23.
