AUSTIN, Texas – No. 23 Texas Baseball played a clean game and cruised to a 7-1 win over Incarnate Word on Tuesday night at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
The Longhorns (10-6, 2-1) allowed just one run on five hits and issued just two free passes over the nine innings.
Jared Thomas went 1-for-3 and drove in three runs with a two-run home run and bases-loaded walk. Rylan Galvan went 2-for-4 with two RBI and also hit a two-run homer.
Grant Fontenot started and pitched three scoreless innings, allowing just one run and striking out four batters.
