This marked the third-place game at the 2K Empire Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project.
The Texas defense limited California to 45 points on 35.6% FG shooting (16-45), including a 12.5% mark (1-8) from three-point range, and forced 12 turnovers on the night.
