No. 21 Baseball falls to Kansas State on Saturday

AUSTIN, Texas – No. 21 Texas Baseball held a 5-2 lead before Kansas State scored four unanswered runs to beat the Longhorns 6-5 on Saturday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.

The Longhorns (22-10, 5-3) will look to bounce back and win the series on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Texas held a 5-3 lead going into the seventh inning when Kansas State scored three runs off Lebarron Johnson Jr., who was charged with the loss.

Travis Sthele started and pitched four innings with six strikeouts. He allowed two runs on eight hits and did not factor int the decision.
