SAN ANTONIO – Quinn Ewers passed for 369 yards, but the No. 20 Texas football team fell 27-20 against No. 12 Washington in the Alamo Bowl on Thursday.
Ewers passed 2,000 yards for the season, becoming just the fifth Texas freshman to pass for more than 2,000 yards in a season.
Xavier Worthy brought in seven receptions for 84 yards. Eight different Longhorns caught a pass in the game.
Texas finished the season with an 8-5 record.
