LUBBOCK, Texas – No. 2 Texas Volleyball swept Texas Tech, 25-15, 25-18, 25-19, to clinch its fifth-consecutive Big 12 Conference Championship on Saturday at United Supermarkets Arena.
The Longhorns (24-1, 15-1) who lifted their 14th Big 12 Championship, have won or shared 10 of the last 11 league championships and 13 of the last 15.
Melanie Parra had a great match, finishing with nine kills, six digs and three blocks, while hitting .471 in the match. Skylar Fields also finished with nine kills, hitting .316 in the match.
Logan Eggleston had eight kills and led the Longhorns with 11 digs.
