DALLAS – No. 2 Texas Rowing completed a two-day scrimmage against No. 13 SMU on White Rock Lake in Dallas this morning. The competition was initially scheduled to being this morning at 8:00 a.m., but due to forecasted wind conditions the first session was run last night.
"We got everything out of this trip I had hoped to accomplish. This was the first race as a Longhorn for most of the team, and I'm happy with the way we handled the racing," said Texas Rowing head coach Dave O'Neill. "There are things that cannot be replicated in practice, and we were definitely tested this weekend.
