Austin, Texas – The No. 2 Texas Men's Tennis Team earned several Big 12 Men's Tennis postseason awards, including Co-Player of the Year for junior Christian Sigsgaard, Coach of the Year for Bruce Berque, four All-Big 12 selections and five individual singles champions, the conference announced Wednesday.
The All-Big 12 team honorees included two unanimous first-team singles choices in Sigsgaard and junior Yuya Ito, and a second-team singles selection in senior Harrison Scott. The duo of Sigsgaard and Scott was chosen to the doubles first team.
The conference also honored individual champions at each singles position for the first time since 2014.
