AUSTIN, Texas – No. 2 Baseball defeated Arizona State, 10-3, in the NCAA Austin Regional at UFCU Disch-Falk Field on Saturday night. Texas (44-15) moves to 2-0 in regional play and advances to Sunday's regional championship game.
Ty Madden picked up his seventh win of the season with a six inning, seven strikeout performance in which he scatted three hits, walked four and allowed one run.
Cam Williams went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one RBI and two runs to lead Texas offensively, while Mike Antico and Trey Faltine each had two-hit nights.
