ARLINGTON, Texas – No. 19 Texas Baseball took down top-seeded TCU, 5-3, in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship on Thursday at Globe Life Field. The Longhorns (41-17) advance to the tournament semifinal on Saturday at 9 a.m. against either TCU or Oklahoma State.
Lucas Gordon was great yet again, pitching 7 2/3 innings and allowing one earned run on just two hits. With the win he improved to 7-1 this season and lowered his ERA to 2.30.
For the second consecutive day, Tristan Stevens pitched the final 1 1/3 innings and picked up the save.
