AUSTIN, TX – Behind three different student-athletes scoring their first career collegiate goals, The University of Texas tied a program record with its fourth consecutive shutout behind a 7-0 victory against Stephen F. Austin.
Thursday night's match started with a seasoned goal scorer — Trinity Byars — pushing her 10th goal on the season into the back of the net less than 14 minutes into the action.
And then 23 minutes later, the energy level was taken to a new level following Lauren Lapomarda's first career goal off an entry pass into the 6-yard box from Jilly Shimkin.
