Goalkeeper Mia Justus and defender Lauren Lapomarda are recognized for Longhorns’ defensive efforts

AUSTIN, Texas – Two members of the No. 14 Texas Longhorns' program-setting defense has been honored by the Big 12 Conference after defender Lauren Lapomarda and goalkeeper Mia Justus were selected as the league's defensive player and goalkeeper of the week, respectively.
The honor is the second straight for Justus, who joins teammate Lexi Missimo was the only Longhorn student-athletes to be earn a Big 12 weekly award multiple times this season.
