AUSTIN, Texas – No. 14 Texas Baseball blasted Abilene Christian 20-0 in a run-rule midweek win on Wednesday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
The Longhorns (27-12, 8-4) clinched their first shutout of the 2023 season, while allowing only two hits.
Kobe Minchey had his second start on the mound and went for three complete innings with two strikeouts, a walk and one hit to secure the win. Zane Morehouse threw one scoreless inning out of the bullpen, Charlie Hurley pitched two complete innings in relief and Andre Duplantier II finished the game in the top of the seventh.
