MANHATTAN, Kan. — The Texas women's basketball team took down Kansas State 80-52 to earn their 13th regular season title in program history on Saturday.
Shaylee Gonzales led the Longhorns with 21 points and Taylor Jones scored 17 points. DeYona Gaston posted 16 points and nine rebounds. Shay Holle recorded 10 points and five assists.
All-American Rori Harmon dished out 12 assists, her fifth game of the season with double-digit assists.
The Texas defense held Kansas State to 52 points, the 19th time this season the Longhorns have held an opponent to 59 points or less.
