AUSTIN, Texas – It was a night of celebration for No. 11/14 Texas softball (36-9, 10-6 Big 12 Conference) on Friday at Red & Charline McCombs Field as the Longhorns honored five seniors in a pre-game ceremony before run-ruling Baylor (27-16, 8-7 Big 12 Conference) behind an 11-hit offensive attack, 8-0 (6 inn.).
Important Notes
- Senior left fielder Kaitlyn Washington registered her 48th career double to tie former Longhorns standout Jodi Reeves' 21-year old program record.
- Junior second baseman Janae Jefferson went 2-for-4 against Baylor to pick up her 250th and 251st career hits.
