HOUSTON, Texas – No. 10 Texas men's golf finished Big 12 Match Play in third after a tie with Kansas in the championship play.
In the final round of Pool A, Texas Fall to Texas Tech, 3-2-1, with wins from senior Spencer Soosman, 1UP, and Pierceson Coody, 3&1.
The loss to TTU caused the Longhorns to compete for third place in the championship round.The Longhorns tied with Kansas with a 3-3-0 match to tie for third.
Texas got wins from Travis Vick, Christoffer Bring, and Spencer Soosman, who all won 1UP matches over the Jayhawks.
