AMES, Iowa – No. 1 Texas Volleyball rallied from dropping the first set to beat Iowa State, 3-1, 24-26, 25-16, 25-14, 25-12, on Thursday night at Hilton Coliseum.
The Longhorn block was dominant in the match, finishing with a season-high 17 total blocks and holding Iowa State to a .000 hitting percentage.
The Texas attack had a balanced night with no player notching double-digit kills. Skylar Fields and Molly Phillips each finished with nine kills, while Phillips also added six blocks. Asjia O'Neal and Logan Eggleston each had eight kills, while O'Neal led the team with nine total blocks.
