The No. 1 Texas Longhorns continued their dominant baseball season with an 11–2 victory over the Prairie View A&M Panthers on Tuesday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field, improving to 38–5 on the season ahead of another big conference series against the No. 11 Arkansas Razorbacks in Fayetteville.
The Longhorns wasted no time asserting their dominance, scoring early and often with sophomore left fielder Easton Winfield turning in his best performance in burnt orange and white, going 4-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored on a double and a home run, his first at Texas, raising his batting average by 65 points.
