SAN DIEGO – No. 1 Rowing closed out a successful weekend in California with a sweep of four grand finals races at the San Diego Crew Classic on Sunday on the Fiesta Bay-Crown Point Shores of Mission Bay Park.
Racing against many of the West Coast's top-ranked programs, including No. 2 Stanford, No. 5 Washington, No. 7 California and No. 16 USC, the Longhorns completed a weekend sweep in San Diego for the second consecutive year.
"We had a great day, and everyone performed at an absolutely high level," said Texas head coach Dave O'Neill.
