AUSTIN, Texas – No. 1 Texas Swimming and Diving swept the Big 12 Conference weekly awards, the league office announced on Wednesday. Senior Alvin Jiang collected Swimmer of the Week honors, while sophomore Noah Duperre was named the Diver of the Week and freshman Luke Hobson earned Newcomer of the Week Honors. The Longhorns have swept the weekly Big 12 awards twice this season and earned at least a share of all three awards for the third time.
Jiang brought home Big 12 Swimmer of the Week honors for the first time this season and the second time in his career.
