No. 1 Baseball blasts Sam Houston, 10-2

HUNTSVILLE, Texas – No. 1 Texas Baseball cruised to a 10-2 win over Sam Houston on Tuesday night at Don Sanders Stadium. The Longhorns improved to 9-0 on the season to begin a stretch of 10-of-11 games on the road.

Andre Duplantier II was outstanding, pitching a career-high six innings and allowing just one run on one hit. The only run he allowed came in the second inning, giving up a leadoff double that later scored on a fielder's choice groundout.

The Longhorns had an immediate answer to the early Bearkat run, scoring a pair of runs on three-straight two-out hits to take a 2-1 lead in the top of the third.
