AUSTIN, Texas – Senior Amy Neal was named 2015 Big 12 Player of the Year and a an All-Big 12 First Team selection, joining six teammates for additional awards, the Big 12 Conference announced on Monday.
Senior Molly McCage, juniors Paulina Prieto Cerame, Chiaka Ogbogu and Chloe Collins were all named to the All-Big 12 First Team, sophomore Cat McCoy was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team and freshman Yaasmeen Bedart-Ghani was named to the All-Freshman Team.
Neal's award marks Texas' seventh-consecutive Big 12 Player of the Year award and ninth overall.
