NBA Playoffs: Durant vs. Aldridge in Battle of #2 Picks

Kevin Durant and his new team, the Golden State Warriors, have the homecourt advantage against LaMarcus Aldridge and his newish team, the San Antonio Spurs.

The interesting thing about Durant and Aldridge is they never played together at Texas. But, they were No. 2 NBA Draft picks in back-to-back years.

LaMarcus Aldridge finished his two-year Texas career in 2006, then was the #2 pick in the 2006 NBA Draft.

Kevin Durant then came to Texas for one magical season in 2007 before becoming the #2 pick in the 2007 NBA Draft.

Aldridge and Durant have battled each other throughout their NBA careers on their original teams, the Portland Trail Blazers and Oklahoma City Thunder, respectively.
