The Texas Longhorns are one win away from claiming their fourth national championship in volleyball after sweeping #1 Wisconsin.
No. 4 Texas and Wisconsin jostled back and forth in set one before the Badgers took a 20-16 lead, the largest of the game at that point for either team.
It wasn’t enough.
Three kills from Logan Eggleston plus another from Skylar Fields and Asija O’Neal highlighted a Texas comeback to win set one.
The Horns continued that momentum in the second set, never trailing the undefeated Badgers, and led by as much as 8 points before closing out Wisconsin 25-19.
