In the first round, sophomore Nevin Armilli took down Eric Biscoveanu of Temple, 6-1, 6-3, while freshman Jacob Bullard topped Matteo De Vincentis of Auburn, 6-4, 7-6 (4). Teammate Cleve Harper fell to Columbia's Alex Kotzen, 6-4, 6-4.
The Horns lost two hard fought matches in the second round with Orel Ovil of Wichita State beating Bullard, 7-5, 7-6 (5), and Yannai Barkai of NC State outlasting Armilli, 3-6, 6-1, 7-5.
