LA QUINTA, Calif. – The No. 7 Texas men's golf team took home the title at The Prestige by Charles Schwab at the Greg Norman Course at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif., on Wednesday afternoon.
The team shot a 278, 6-under to finish the tournament at 20-under 832. They were six strokes up on the second-place finisher, No. 1 Pepperdine, who finished 14-under.
The Longhorns saw two individuals register top 10 finishes as senior Spencer Soosman jumped six spots to finish in third and sophomore Pierceson Coody tied for sixth place. Soosman shot a season-best 65 in the final round.
