AUSTIN, Texas — Sophomore guard Matt Coleman III registered a season-high 22 points to lead the Texas Men's Basketball team to a 72-68 win against No. nr/24 Purdue (6-4) on Sunday night at the Frank Erwin Center. Coleman, who was just three points shy of his career high (25 vs. Nevada on March 16, 2018), also set season highs in field goals made (7-11) and three-point field goals made (3-5) and tied his season high in free throws made (5-6).
Freshman forward Jaxson Hayes contributed 14 points and three blocks.
