AUSTIN, Texas — Redshirt sophomore guard Andrew Jones registered a career-best 21 points, and freshman center Will Baker added a career-high 20 points to lead The University of Texas Men's Basketball team (15-11, 5-8 Big 12) to a 70-56 victory against TCU (14-12, 5-8 Big 12) on Wednesday night at the Frank Erwin Center. Jones converted 7-of-14 field goals, including 3-of-5 from three-point range, in a season-high 36 minutes.
Baker, who had scored just 16 total points in his first 17 collegiate contests entering the night, hit 8-of-12 field goals, including 4-of-6 from three-point range, in a career-best 26 minutes of action.
