AMES, Iowa – Texas men's and women's track and field swept the Big 12 Indoor Championships for the second year in a row, just the second-ever program to complete the feet in the Big 12.
The No. 1 ranked women's team scored points to take its fifth-straight indoor title. The Longhorns claimed three event wins on the final day of competition in the 200m, 400m, 600yard and 800m, including sweeps in the 200m and the 400m.
Davicia Patterson defended her 600-yard title with a winning time of 1:19.41. Brooke Jaworski also defended her 800m title with a personal-best time of 2:03.
