Former Longhorns' punter Michael Dickson became the first Texas alum to be selected on Saturday at the NFL Draft in Arlington, going at pick No. 149 to the Seattle Seahawks.
Dickson was the first punter picked in this year's draft, and the first Longhorn specialist to be picked since kicker Jeff Ward in 1987. He is the third Longhorn to be drafted this weekend, after Connor Williams and Malik Jefferson were picked on Friday night.
