Tom Herman and company are once again in pursuit of an elite out-of-state prospects, as 2021 Hart County (Hartwell, Ga.) tight end Cane Berrong announced an offer from the Texas Longhorns on Friday afternoon.
Coming from the Peach State, Berrong has now earned a total of 19 offers from a great deal of the nation’s top programs. Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Penn State are among those in the mix, just to name a few.
The four-star talent has yet to make it down to the Forty Acres and with Texas jumping in the mix sort of late compared to other Power 5 schools in close proximity to Berrong, the staff will have a their work cut out for them if they have legitimate aspirations of acquiring him.
