Texas women's basketball began its SEC Conference schedule last night in Missouri as they took on the Mizzou Tigers. That first quarter was one that Vic Schaefer might want to go over with the ladies after the game. Allowing 83% from beyond the Arc and 69% field goal percentage in the first quarter is something that they shouldn't be proud of.
However, Madison Booker and Jordan Lee took over the game as Texas beat Mizzou 89-71.
I hope the ladies learned a lot about the SEC Conference during the game. Just because you are the second-best team in the country doesn't mean that you'll have an easy conference schedule.
