Nick Saban has been a bold new voice in the college football talking-head hemisphere.
He’s often favored the Texas Longhorns, too. Most recently, he predicted Texas faces off against the Georgia Bulldogs in the Southeastern Conference’s championship game later this year.
But there’s a catch, as always with Saban.
“I picked Georgia and Texas because it’s reverse rat poison for Alabama,” Saban said earlier this week, according to Sports Illustrated. “It’s a motivating factor for them not to get picked. I hated to be picked first or second because you don’t know how that’s going to impact your team psychologically.
