Wimbledon, England – Former University of Texas Men's Tennis player Lloyd Glasspool won the 2025 Wimbledon men's doubles championship on Saturday. A former 2015 NCAA Doubles Champion at Texas, Glasspool becomes the first Longhorn to win the Wimbledon men's doubles title championship since Wilmer Allison in 1931.
Glasspool and partner Julian Cash defeated Rinky Hijikata and David Pel, 6-2, 7-6 (3), to give Glasspool the first Grand Slam title for a Longhorn since both Steve Denton and Kevin Curren combined to win the 1982 U.S. Open. Glasspool joins Denton, Curren and Allison to as UT's Grand Slam winners in either singles or doubles.
