The Texas Longhorns legacies won’t continue in Austin, Texas.
Despite the fact that their father was a Longhorn great and their brother, Luke, is currently a linebacker on the Forty Acres, the Brockermeyer brothers, Tommy and James, are taking their talents to Tuscaloosa, as the elite duo announced their commitment to the Alabama Crimson Tide on Friday afternoon.
LSU and Auburn were also finalists alongside Texas.
For obvious reasons, the Brockermeyer brothers leaving the Lone Star State serves as a substantial blow to Texas’ recruiting efforts this cycle.
