We’ve reached the penultimate week of the Texas high school football regular season. Eight of the Texas Longhorns’ in-state commits have seen their teams qualify for the playoffs, and a lot would have to go wrong for the others to miss out on the postseason.
UT’s out-of-state commits are all at slightly different points in their schedule. Nevada edge defender Anthony Jones will have his team’s first playoff game tonight. Alabama defensive lineman Justice Finkley and his team have concluded their regular season and will play their first round playoff game next week. The program’s two Arizona commits, meanwhile, still have three games left in their regular season.
