AUSTIN, Texas – Kickoff for No. 8/8 Texas Football's Oct. 28 matchup against BYU has been set for 2:30 p.m. CT, the Big 12 Conference announced on Monday. The game will broadcast on ABC or ESPN from inside Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium with the network designation to be determined after the Oct. 21 games.
The game will mark the sixth meeting between the Longhorns and Cougars and the first as conference opponents. Texas trails the all-time series against BYU 1-4 with a 1-2 mark at home. The programs last met in 2014, a 41-7 victory for the Cougars in Austin.
