The Houston Rockets lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder in overtime on NBA's opening night, but Kevin Durant still managed to shine throughout the entire game for his new team.
Durant was traded to the Rockets in June in exchange for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No.10 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, and five future 2nd-round picks. That's an enormous haul for Houston to give up, but it was undoubtedly worth it for the 15x NBA All-Star and 2x NBA Champ.
In his first game with the Rockets last night, he played 47 minutes and shot 56.
