Rising junior Texas football linebacker Juwan Mitchell recently became yet another Longhorn to announce he might not be playing for the team any longer.
A recent growing trend is some of the more notable players for the Texas football program is the announcement that they won’t be playing another snap wearing the burnt orange. The most recent to announce that intention on social media is the former highly touted three-star JUCO linebacker recruit and rising junior Juwan Mitchell.
In a statement posted on his Twitter timeline late in the evening of June 17, Mitchell announced why he felt he won’t be playing another down representing the University of Texas.
