The No. 4 Texas Longhorns finally take the field, hoping to improve on a 2023 that was easily the most successful season since Colt McCoy patrolled the Forty Acres.
A new year brings an interesting mix of new and old.
As the Longhorns head into the first year in the SEC, Texas returns quarterback Quinn Ewers, four of the five offensive linemen from a year ago, and a ton of experience at the skill positions on defense. That being said, Texas also lost a school-record number of players to the NFL Draft, all leaving massive holes to fill in 2024.
