IRVINE, Calif. - Luke Hobson took home the 200m freestyle national title on Wednesday night at the 2022 Phillips 66 National Championship.
In the first final of the night at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center, Hobson stunned the crowd with his winning time of 1:46.14 to bring home the title. Hobson is now one of four Longhorns with the top fastest 200m free times in 2022 with his ranking as the fifth-fastest this season. Drew Kibler holds the fastest time this year at 1:45.01 after his winning performance at the World Championships, while Carson Foster holds the third (1:45.
