MORGANTOWN, W.Va – Texas diver Hailey Hernandez claimed the silver on 3-meter springboard on the final day of the USA Diving National Championships on Wednesday at the Aquatic Center at Mylan Park. The top-two finish qualified her in the event for the Team USA roster at the summer's World Aquatics Championships as well as the Pan American games in the fall. It marked the second qualifying event for Hernandez after winning the national championship on 1-meter earlier in the meet.
Hernandez scored 602.95 points to capture silver, narrowly topping third-place finisher Krysta Palmer, who scored 597.
