Texas head coach Tom Herman met with the media following Wednesday's practice, the first day in full pads for the Longhorns.
A number of former Texas players were in attendance, including Earl Thomas -- who continues his holdout with the Seattle Seahawks -- Aaron Ross, Justin Blalock and Tim Crowder. Thomas, Ross and Michael Huff -- another former Texas player who is now an assistant coach on Herman's staff -- posed for a photo. The trio, which boasts two Jim Thorpe awards and a runner-up, are considered to be some of the best defensive backs to have ever worn the burnt orange.
