AUSTIN, Texas — University of Texas freshman point guard Rori Harmon has been named the Big 12 Conference Freshman of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
This marks Harmon's fourth weekly league honor of the season, the most among Big 12 freshman this year.
The Houston native had a dominant week on the hardwood as the Longhorns captured a pair of victories over No. 6/5 Iowa State and West Virginia.
Harmon averaged a team-best 19.5 points over the two-game stretch shooting at a sparkling 55.6 percent (15-of-27) mark from the field.
