AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Men's Golf junior Cole Hammer was named the Big 12 Men's Golfer of the Month for April, the league office announced Wednesday. It is the first time Hammer has earned the honor in his career, and the first time a Longhorn has done so since Doug Ghim in Oct. 2017.
Hammer posted top-10 finishes in all three tournaments he competed in during the month of April, capped by winning individual medalist honors at the Big 12 Championship. In addition, he also finished tied for ninth at the Calusa Cup in Naples, Fla.
